In addition to the water and fibre, drink some caffeine free herbal green tea specifically for dieters. My husband drinks it when he has a problem, and within a few hours, he's clear. I take a cup every other day to stay regular. We drink ordinary green tea every day, but any of the ones for dieters will work for your problem, and it's perfectly safe and natural. Good Luck!!

As the other answerers have said, having a diet high in fibre is the best way to stay regular. Stay away from processed white bread and pasta, and eat wholemeal instead. Eating porridge is a great way to boost your fibre and get those stools moving!

You could also try a herbal supplement, like Slippery Elm, which shouyld be available at a health food store.

Are you really drinking enough water? the ratio is you should drink half your weight in ounces. In other words if you weigh 200lbs you should be drinking 100 oz. of water. IF you consume no caffeine. For every glass of decaffeinated beverage you have to drink 2 glasses of water in addition to the 100 ounces. Your urine should always be clear. Any yellow signals dehydration. If you are truly hydrated you may want to take digestive enzymes. Also you need to exercise 30 min. per day. If you are doing all that, then you may be taking too much iron.

As everyone has said, eat more fiber, lots of fruit and veggies, lots of water, and also make sure to get some exercise every day. If that doesn't work, there are gentle natural supplements available, check at your store and read the labels.

Eat more fibre. The best sources are brown bread or AllBran/Bran Flakes. A good fibre breakfast will make a huge difference.
