Could be one of many things, but scabies springs to mind. Use a search engine to get to know more about these little mites. The spots usually appear in the creases of the skin, backs of knees, between fingers, etc. The itch is almost un-bearable, especially at night. They can be passed on by skin contact, towels, bedding. There was an out-break of them at my nieces nursery and she kindly shared them with me! Had to get cream from doc's...and the itch gets worse before it gets better. Good luck
