NO!

I tried the chewing gum once and it burned my mouth. It turns out these chewing gums contain an agressive substance some people are too sensitive to. It does say in the small print, but you have to buy a pack first...

I consulted a chemist but she had no idea and didn't know if there are any products which do not have this "burning ingredient".

Yes, I quit with Nicorette and I would advice anyone to try it! You still have to have the will power, because part of the addiction has nothing to do with the cigarette. Part of it is holding the cigarette & having one after a meal. I had to have the gum after a meal. I stopped 16 years ago. I did get addicted to chewing the gum and I chewed it as long as I wanted (they say chew for a certain amount of minutes). I then had to go to regular gum for awhile to get off of the Nicorette. But definitely worth it!

I never tried the gum, but had the patches, which DID work. Will be 5 years in May since I quit.

No, sheer will power and strength of character helped me stop, that was almost a year ago and it's the best thing I have done.

No, it didn't - the only thing that helped me stop smoking was to say "No more now" - and stick to it!

I don't know . But do you know that each cigarette you smoke you lose 1,30 hour of your life . And if you smoke one box of cigarette you will lose one and half day. So see what is better your life or smoking ???!!!!!

It's revolting. Try hypnosis tapes - buy them on eBay. It doesn't do it for you - but it certainly helps strengthen your resolve.
