An average price of a pack of 20 cigarettes is £4.50 x 7 (days in a week) x 52 (weeks in a year) = £1,638.00 a year.

Could have been spent ona nice holiday with the grilfriend/wife and/or kids, with plenty of spending money, dont you think?

I know they are really expensive in the UK, at around a fiver a pack, but here in Spain we are complaining that they have just gone up again to 22 euros for 200, so we are paying 1.50 per pack.

Yes it is costing you far too much - you could always move to Spain!!

Try and stop if you can, I did on 1st jan 2007 and still no smoking for me. It costs just tooooo much.

yes! every pack of 20 costs just under a fiver rite? so thats roughly £35 per week, 52 weeks in a year, so its costing you around £1820 every year!

Stop! It is also hastening your death! See your GP to consider ways of giving up. NRT is the commonest but you still need willpower unfortunately

me 2 till i started rolling my own, i use menthol tips and they taste fine.now it only costs me £12 a week, if u can get ur bacca cheap
