*Are you sure you want to know? I spent one and a half year in the Assembly og God and one and a half year in the Jesus Only Oneness church from 1972 to 1975 and I left because they were fake, with fake miracles, not one documented real miracle and back biting and their tongues are not the tongues of the bible. Read Acts Chapter 2 and you will find Peter and his men who spoke in tongues were speaking a human language that was understood by those wo were from foriegn regions. What is practised today is just gibberish and they claim to follow the pattern set by Paul in 1 corinthians 14, but fail misereably.. These people are dangeours because I have been threatened by them and have had more than one try to ruin my life.
They use occult methods , but cl;aim those of us who openly practice the occult are of the devil, but they are occultist disguised as christians. Don't think so? The practice of asking for something in prayer and then sayi8ng you have to believe you already have it and visualize it to make it happen, is a direct occult practice in all magickal workings. The act of rebucking someone or something in the name of Jesus is a for of a curse, which any self respecting Wiccan would never do. I have sat in the Oneness churches and heard the preacher lead a prayer for God to send some kind of sickness or other bad thing on members who do not obey him. The pastor is a cult leader who controls his congregation by using Old testement passages meant for the King of Isreal usually speaking about David or some other king saying "touch not mine anointed" To control their members causing them to beleive that he is anointed of God and if you disobey him or question him, God will send bad things your way.
I could go on and on, but that should be enough information for you.*

I visited 2 Pentecostal churches. At one, the minister had the doors locked because he did not get enough money in the collection plate. At the other, the minister told the congregation that they should give their money to God "rather than" pay their bills. I am not saying all of them are like this because I have no idea but I will not be visiting one again. It was enough to show me that God's spirit didn't dwell there. I once belonged to the Methodist Church and left because I didn't think what they taught agreed with what the Bible said. I later joined the Church of Christ but the minister asked me to lie. I never went back there either. I was much more skeptical before joining anything else and studied for years to make sure before I became a Jehovah's Witness. I joined 14 years ago in July and I am very happy about my decision.

I have. I woke up Spiritually a long time ago. There is NO biblical teachings on jumping up and down, rolling on the floor, and speaking in so called *tongues* Tongues is nothing more than speaking in other languages for that one. God is not the Author of confusion. That is the Devils work. When the Holy Spirit fell on the crowd in the Book of Acts, EVERYONE there heard the praising and prophecies in their OWN language. That seems to be the biggest thing in the Pentecostal church, *tongues* It even states that in the book of Acts that every man heard their own dialect that day. It is in the Word of God plain and simple, and if you have any question about it PLEASE READ it for yourslf and you will see what I mean. I am NOT accusing you of anything, but want you to read Gods Word if you believe in Him and see what He says about this. Do not take my or any other mans word for it, but do take Gods Word for it. I mean nothing in this world, but am trying to witness FOR Him. I cannot get out to do it as I am Disabled, BUT I give Him all the Praise and Glory for my Disability because I can use my computer to help spread His Word, and hopfully nudge someone to reading His Word and they will come to know the Lord and heaven will gain another soul for the day when we go home to be with Him. There is ALWAYS room for one more person in Gods Kingdom, as there is always room for one more in Hell. Both are NEVER FULL until that day of Judgement comes and time will be no more.
