I use stuff called P20. Main advantage is you put it on in the morning and it does for the whole day. Haven't burned since I started using this despite holidaying in Greece in summer months.
Of course you should wear a hat and a t shirt and don't sun bathe.

Hawaiian Tropic. I prefer the oil to the lotion because I have very dry skin anyway and that helps keep my skin from become tough like they say sometimes (leathery).

depends on whether you want maximum protection or best suntan! Nivea's range is excellent for good protection - Mr. GorgeousFluffpot has pinky-white skin so we use that on him. I, on the other hand, having a Mediterranean heritage, use Bergasol which is truly excellent for getting a fast, rich tan. That, in my opinion, is the best one around and beats the others hands down.

I'd say SUN LOVE by Higher Nature; "it is a suncare product that contains bio-melanin, extracted from sunflowers, which works like melanin in the body to protect and tan the skin. Sun Love doesn’t contain titanium dioxide or other chemical agents, and has a natural SPF of around 8, which means you need to re-apply frequently especially in the first few days of sensible sun exposure. It is also full of other all-natural ingredients, including MSM, Green Tea, Rutin, Vitamins A, E, Co-enzyme Q10 and Sea Buckthorn Oil rich in vitamin C, delivered in nano-lipid complexes to penetrate more deeply."
