Distance education is very credible, nowadays, and to many people its the only valid opition. Hence, Open Universities.

The vast majority of graduates, nowadays, are from distance education system.

There are also a lot of Universities and Institutions which offer distance courses. The question then, it is not the education system itself. Rather the credibility of the institution involved.

IGNOU University of Delhi is credible.

All the best.

Hi, Yes. A degree from University like IGNOU is very credible with respect to its recognition internationally. It is like any other degree of regular colleges, because of its syllabus contents being similar and all European countries do recognise this University. Any University offering courses under distance education with 5 star / 4 star accreditation by NAAC is recognised world wide. You can even go for higher education and also for job search abroad. Good luck guy

Distance education is credible and recognised if it's from a uni that is credible and recognised, but I really don't know about that university. Look it up.

Why not? Education never ends in life. The more you learn the more the thirst for knowledge you feel. And that is a kind of pleasure. Hence go ahead. Good luck !!
