well it is not really the cold weather that causes cold and flu`s.it the dry heat of the heaters we use.Bacteria and viruses tent to flourish a lot in this environment.I myself just take me some Off-brand alka zelza plus,fix me a nice hot cup of herbal tea and if necessary take a head-steam bath with a teaspoon of vapor rub in a pot of hot boiling water,I also double up on my vitamin C intake.I am not much on taking prescription drugs.
