20 inches
Why, Oh why do people assume that, when a person asks for a conversion of 51 cms, they actually mean 51.00000 cms and give them an answer to 5 decimal places.
I hate people who use __unwarrented__ accuracy
{ i saw a question recently - concerning room measurement conversion to metric - and someon gave the answer to 1/100 of a millimetre - totally daft}

51 cm = 20.1 inches (Rounded up)
51 centimetres multiplied by 0.3937008 = 20.1 inches
Its multiplied by 0.3937008 inches in a centimetre. Or the other way round would be 2.54cm in an inch
