Yes it is because bananas of brilliant sources of slow release energy so they help bring your blood sugar back up (alcohol is full of sugar so the day after drinking your blood sugars crash causing tiredness, irritability and nausea) - bananas are also really good for potassium which I think might help your dyhdration too!

Nope, banana is a good pick-me-up because its high in natural sugar etc etc. But ginger is best for anti nausea if your looking for a natural solution- just eat ginger biscuits. Its what a lot of anti-sickness tablets are made from. Also lots of water to clear the system and if you eat bread the night before when you come in it absorbs the alcohol a bit!
Although, may I suggest, that if you stick to your limit you would not have a hangover ;)

The same could be said of tomatoes - it's their vitamin B which helps rehydrate the body. I'll let you in on a secret: If I've had a big night of drinking then I'll take 2-3 vitamin B tablets with a large glass of water before going to bed. The vitamin B rehydrates your body while you sleep so you don't feel hungover in the morning. Trust me, it makes all the difference! Of course, this will only work to a certain degree. If you get completely hammered then the only thing to do is to take lots of Vitamin B and water the day after and sleep it off.

I've not heard that one....ginger is best i find..eat a ginger biscuit...one recommendation is white starflower oil..it is a chinese remedy, you may be able to get it anywhere that sells herbal or chinese medicine. You rub it on your temples and a little under the nostrils..it really does work miracles. We were recomended whilst in Hong Kong by a chinese woman, it really is brilliant.
