If you buy a German Shepherd for that price you will stand a good chance of buying one with health problems. The parents will not have been tested for Hip Dysplasia, Haemophilia A, Elbow dysplasia or eye problems. They will also not have bothered about temperament. It will cost you much more in vet's bills & heartache. Why not go for an older rescue dog.

you can't afford to keep a dog if you can't afford the going rate. At this price, the pups won't be registered and the parents not hip scored or anything else. Your cheap pup will end upo costing several hundreds or thousands in vet bills within a short time.

If it is listed as a pedigree dont buy it, not for that price. You should expect to pay £800 -1000 for a pedigree shepherd

Ask at your local RSPCA about rehoming a pet and local dog kennels.
We have a German Shepherd cross and she is the most lovely, docile dog you could wish for. Hope you find one soon!!!
Just found this site, seems really good so might be worth a look -
