Not all of them. Sometimes, the people who avoid talking about god have been taught that it isn't an appropriate topic for conversation (like sex and politics). Or they might worship a different god, or gods, or goddesses, or nature. There are many possibilities.
I don't talk about god unless someone else brings it up, or unless they want to involve me in a religious holiday. Otherwise, it doesn't really come up. It's not because I am scared, because not much scares me, but I have better things to do than go over the same stuff over and over with other people. It's tedious. That's logical.

I think that since believing in God is a way of life and most people cannot help but notice..should talk about their belief and what God does in your life to people who listen. There are gamblers who love to talk about gambling...rev heads who love to talk about racing etc etc....
I think that those who do not believe in God should be able to say they do not and why..like in everything, I believe we should express our feelings in a way which we know will not offend the other person.
For example..suppose someone is an avid cat lover and the other person hates them to bits and would like to strangle and kill them..and even does do it..I think they should be able to express that they dislike cats intensly..but leave out the part that they kill them because it would upset the cat lover badly.

I think this is a valid reason.
I'm a Roman Catholic and DO believe in God but I think every1 is entitled to their own opinions and beliefs. If others do not believe in God then that is their choice and no-one else has any right to preach at them!!
Can't stand the 1's that shove religion down other people's throats!!

Somehow I believe that you are missing the point. Talk is cheap, walk the walk. There are mouth Christan's-they talk good and talk often, but come up short in the walk. Then you have the Christan's that don't say much, but just walk the path. You don't have to say allot to be a Christan, you just have to walk the walk and if you are doing that, people will come and talk to you about problems and for advice. Then it is much easier to break the ice and not worry about hurting feelings.

Thats funny. I am atheist and I dont mind speaking about religion at all. I like it alot. Even christianity and its history etc. I have noticed most beleivers dont want to talk about their beliefs much at all, at least in person.

well i suppose they probably don't want to hurt other peoples feelings. i think it is logical, since some people can be very stubborn and will not accept that other people have different views to them

because if you tell a religious person something bad about their religion, they feel obligated to defend it.

When you really know God it is difficult to talk about. Words cannot do justice.
I think often those who don't talk about him know him best.
