Tough question indeed Lanna! That said, many of us believe in the adage 'love at first sight'. That may be applicable for many - but as you would know - not ALL.
Inclination toward someone seems to have some combination with that well-known sense of 'aura'. Whether or not you are 'connected' with someone just now, one can only assume that at times in your past (...and present) when you meet someone that inclines your interest, in a far broader arena than physical appearance alone, you seek further connection with that person, That nature of attraction (I believe) applies to many of us.
Subsequent to having been attracted to another with attractive appearance alone, many of us become aware that attraction of that sort can be somewhat superficial - as opposed to being the basis of long-term connection to another that possesses inspirational, emotionally 'stimulating' depth, shared principally with his/her partner.
Your term 'soulmate' is well-presented because it makes clear that your sense of value is beyond the attraction of 'beauty being only skin-deep'. The right person awaits your arrival in his/her life Lanna, that being the case for most decent people. In final words, your use of the term 'soulmate' is clearly broken into two syllables - 'soul' & 'mate'. BOTH of those expressions are of inexplicable value for you - and many others!

Time will tell all. Let things fall into place, don't be in a rush to label someone your soulmate though.

THERE IS A SOUL MATE AND THERE IS ALSO A FATE MATE

just be yourself completely, don't front or play head games of any sort. just speak what you feel and voice what you like or want. if it seems you have a lot in common then they are your soulmate.

certain you meet many soul associates on your existence someone you meet at a celebration everywhere and both of you click devoid of delay, someone who finally ends up being a instructor a mentor. Then there is your Love soul mate and different sorts all of us have those human beings in our lives. all and multiple HAS MANY SOUL associates!

Well, first off, they have to be open and honest to you for this to be remotely possible. You'll know. No matter what you guys experience together as a couple, you'll always feel love for each other, unconditionally.

hey...thats a tough one and has been for generations....I guess there is no fixed criteria for this...one has to just look into the persons eye and figure out themselves....I think eyes are the only other thing which don't lie....other than hips...which we know thanks to Shakira...if you think you can spend your whole life with that person...without changing them or without they expecting you to change....you are soul mates...
