Within the last decade, scientific discoveries have proved evolution. If anyone still believes in creationism it's because they are blind, ignorant, stupid or brainwashed. A person can still believe in a God or even in Christ (as a God) and still except evolution as the process that lead to our existence. Only the hard headed Christians etc. do not except scientific evidence of evolution because they still believe the childhood bible stories about Adam and Eve and the snake and apple episode. I'm surprised they don't believe in ware-wolves, vampires and Santa Claus.

Evolution does not deal with creation. It deals with the change in the average genetic makeup of a population of organisms over time. Note, the word 'population' implies that there are already many members of the population. The central problems that creationists have with evolution is that it requires the Earth to be much older than the Bible seems to say. If the Earth is actually 4540 million years old, then either their interpretation is wrong or the Bible is wrong. They cannot countenance either possibility because in many cases the Bible is just about all they know. The real problem here is geology, physics and analytical chemistry, not biology. The other side of this is that they cannot face the fact that humans have a common ancestor with all the mammals, reptiles, fish, molluscs and ultimately even plants. This puts the doctrine of an immortal soul in doubt, since only humans are supposed to have these. But if, for instance, gorillas are very like humans, do they have souls too? What about dogs, birds, fish, snails or trees? Another problem is that evolution accounts for one of the former mysteries of the world very neatly, the diversity of life on it. It does it without needing the intervention of any god. This leaves less space for their god to hide. Likewise big bang theories leave even smaller gaps for gods to inhabit. So you will often see big bang cosmology lumped in with evolution by creationists though they have nothing much to do with each other. I think if there was solid proof that both systems were wrong, there would be just as much dim-witted opposition from creationists to whatever the new idea might be..

How do you handle the religious aspect from a scientific point of view? There is a clash of beliefs here that are rather disturbing! Logic tells one that the miracles claimed in the bible are impossible! That the world could not have been created in seven days. People cannot be raised from the dead! The blind cannot see! But one must remember that the bible was not written by God, but written by scribes who lived all their lives in the dessert towns and villages of the middle east. they had little knowledge of the outside world as we know it. So that miracles were a great event in their lives even if some were performed by sleight -of-hand! You must remember that 98% of people could not read or write and had to rely on the scribes to read the news and rumours to them weekly in the town square. A lot of people got their news, third or Fourth hand! so it was greatly exaggerated! However! That would account for some of the inaccuracies in the word of God. But there is still a lot of things that scientists are puzzled about! One of them is how does our d.n.a. build on it self? where does this information come from? every creature on this earth, has a complete set of d.n.a for reproducing it's specie! So a question! who or what decides which species will be made? Question! who or what decides when it's time that species should be updated? (Evolution) Who designed the aero-dynamics of the birds? What intelligence designed hollow bones in birds so that they would be lighter in weight in order to fly? What or whom designed the eye in all animals including man? It's truly mind boggling isn't it? Answer some of those question from an Atheist point of view and we'd be halfway there! Have a good day!

I believe that God set up a game and he followed the rules. He didn't exactly magicly create the universe, He only placed the ingredients in the big bang, which would be the whole world, earth and such.
Let say you live 2000 years ago, if I explain the universe was created by hydrogen gases fusions and such, can you comprehend? No. So God put it simply "I created the universe in 6 days. Pretty sweet huh?"

God made us and he made evolution as well, so he doesnt have to work as much after. Its like a computer program with A.I .
But A.I is still question as I think about our global activity!
