My girlfriend told me that she is on her period. I was like I guess. But then later I noticed that she gets tremendously moody with me. I told her this and she told me what—you don’t want to talk to me then. And I said—I will call you back when you are off it. And she said what for seven days? What should I do I am a guy I don’t understand that stuff—she is very emotional and moody as if she hates me. Is getting her period the reason why she is like this or does she hate me?

yes monthly hormone changes can change her mood. this is not an excuse to be abusive or treat you badly. You can make allowances for snappishness if you wish, but dont put up with nonsense.

Welcome to hormones. Yes, she is moody. Yes, this probably happens every month. If you blow her off for one week a month, you're blowing her off, period. Your choices are to deal or split.
