You won't get german sheps anywhere for that price. The only way you'll get a dog for that sort of money is if it is stolen and don't even go there. Try rescue homes for a young dog but they will homecheck you first and after you get the dog and you cannot breed from the dogs. Even then the donation fee's are around £150 for pedigree's. If you can't afford the £250 or more initial outlay for the dog maybe you should reconsider as german shepherds are not cheap to keep - they eat loads and need good vet care xxxxxxxxxx

I'm sure that you won't get a pure-bred puppy for that price. You may also have to travel a lot further to get such a bargain priced puppy but still you could try searching on here (you'll need to register to get the contact details but it is searchable by postcode):

I must say that the GSD cross Husky little white pups do look really cute - £100 from Cambridgeshire. But the cheapest pure GSD, unregistered of course, are £140 from Nottinghamshire.

I'd be really wary about where you buy from though - preferably from a home breeder & not from a commercial breeder as at that price, when breeding, it may be doubtful that the parents have been selected for temperment.

You would have to pay a lot more than that if you were buying from a reputable breeder. Why is it so important that it's a GS?

Also, I don't mean to be rude, but once you have bought any dog (especially large breeds) that's when the financial problems can really start. So, if you only have £110 to buy a dog, maybe you shouldn't be buying a dog?

So consider whether you can offer a good home to a dog before you go ahead.

Good luck, hope you make the right decision.

at that price you are looking at unregistered, poorly bred pups with no health testing done to the parents and a high liklihood of hip displaysia, elbow displaysia, epilepsy, pancreatitis or many other things. Cheap to buy, expensive in vet bills. I've never seen purebred GSD for that low price. Even most rescue centres charge more than that for rescued dogs. If you cannot afford to pay the going rate, how can you afford all the vet bills like innoculations, flea and wormers and vet bills when the pup gets sick?

A GSD for that price would probably not have hip checked parents. It all ends in heartache if they have hip problems & lots of vet bills too. I got my GSD from the RSPCA. I have rescued two nervous bitches in the last five years from them. They soon come round when out the kennels & they have fantastic temperments with dogs, children & people. They were adults when I got them, so I could tell that were sound in mind & body. What you see is what you get. Go & have a look round at rescues. At least then you will be helping a dog instead of ecouraging people to breed bad dogs.
