immigration check: they check the documents like passport, validity to enter other country and on what basis, whether u r a legal immigrant, ask any questions they want to regarding ur stay in the new country. they have the right to cancel your journey if found guilty or cheating them.

Your documents to enter a new country are CHECKED BEFORE YOU BOARD THE PLAIN!!!!!!!!! Once you board that plane and it takes off the contents of that plane are considered in the new country.... If you get passed the boarding process you better hope and pray immigration doesn't catch you when you land... you will be imprisoned and deported to you own countries prison for further sentencing....

Ques. is wrong. It is Emmigration Check. It happens only in India. It is for visiting some countries in Asia etc. to check miuse of Indians for employment etc.

When entering into to any country they will check your status in that country to see if you are allowed to enter into that country.
