Muscle weighs more than fat, so if you're working out and gaining muscle, the scale might not be the best indicator of progress. Do you look better? Do your clothes fit better?

Alternatively, have you changed your food consumption? If you're eating more now, or eating poorly, then you can't expect a large weight difference regardless of how much you work out.

Eat only when u r hungry.

Eat nourishing food with plenty of fresh fruits and vegetables being part of it. Chew each morsel at least 32 times. This will activate signal to the brain as soon as u have had enough. Besides this change in eating style, take regular light exercises and brisk walks every day. U will be able to gain/shed all extra weight gracefully and in a reasonable time span. No food or drink in between the food and not more than three meals a day, unless u r diabetic.

This is not a straight forward answer. If your target is to slim down, you need to create a deficit in total calorie consumption. Put it simply: your calorie intake should be less than what you spent. So if you consume (ate) 2500 cal daily you should manage to burn more than 2500 cal within that day. If you deposited unburnt cal, you'll put on even if you exercised 7 times a week. Think of it as your bank account: you earned $1000 a week and spent all of it then you saved nothing or if you spent $1050 you have a debt, a deficit. On the other hand you spent only $800 than you have a saving. So take a little log of your calorie consumption and you will be able to find out why your weight did not go down.

Hi,

I specialize in helping people lose weight quickly and safely.

You could be becoming heavier because of a few reasons:
- muscles weigh more than fats
- your dietary intake calories outweigh your usage
- your body is retaining water or toxins because it is not functioning properly.

I had a fren who went to gym EVERYDAY for 2 years and watched her diet and still remained fat. She only really lost weight when she did a detox. In fact, she lost 9kg within one month. You can see her before and after here:
http://dreamsincredibles.blogspot.com/2005/10/germaine-lost-9kg-in-1-month.html

I myself lost 15kg within 2 mths and got rid of my huge tummy doing a detox.

All you need to do is three things.

Number one, follow the detox programme which requires you to change your diet a little bit. Eg, take more vege and less meat and seafoods.

Number two, use 1 minute a day to take some natural health foods consumable even by babies and pregnant women that will enhance the speed and the effect of the detox.

Number three, drink lots of water to flush the toxins out and help your body start to accept water.

And that's it.

The rest is up to you.

So what do you think? ;)

OK....do not worry about a number on the scale so much. What is the mirror telling you. Or what are the people who do not see you everyday telling you. Do you look thinner? Do you feel better? Exercise, especially weight lifting and muscle building exercises will cause you to gain weight, Muscle weights more than fat. But it is also much more healthy on your body. So watch the fat and sugar intake, but do not sweat the numbers so much. how do you feel and how do you look. A number cannot measure that.

If you haven't already, try cutting out any soda you may be drinking and be honest with yourself about a) your food portions b) your snacking on high fat or high sugar foods.
And if you are already watching those things, I understand muscle weighs more than fat, so perhaps you are building muscle. In that case, it's all good.

You exercise, then get hungry and overeat while a shift in your metabolism is likely not occuring... go for 5 times a week.

I had to read this 3 times to understand you....
But then again I just came from the pub....
Be sure to drink plenty of water- if you work out, but don't drink enough water, your body will retain fat...
