I am wondering how I can gain weight. I am 18 yrs old and weigh around 105... I have asked my doctor about it and he just tells me to eat. He seems to think I have a eating problem which I don't. I eat all the time but it does not seem like I am gaining weight. Serious answers only please.

You are a teenager. Many teenagers are thin, but they put on weight automatically as they grow older. This is because teenagers have a very high metabolic rate and burn calories fast. So you should not try to put on weight by eating fatty food, since it will be difficult to lose this fat later. Check this out for more information http://www.toloseweight.org/gainweight.html

Eat only when u r hungry.
Eat nourishing food with plenty of fresh fruits and vegetables being part of it. Chew each morsel at least 32 times. This will activate signal to the brain as soon as u have had enough. Besides this change in eating style, take regular light exercises and brisk walks every day. U will be able to gain/shed all extra weight gracefully and in a reasonable time span. No food or drink in between the food and not more than three meals a day, unless u r diabetic.

First...accept the weight you are at now. If you feel good and have no major health risk, you have no problem. Eating more can help you gain weight, but that is not always healthier. Extra fat is not better than too thin. This sounds like you have a high metabolism...enjoy it while you can. Tell the doctor to shove his advice and enjoy your life.

Wow, that's a tough question. I wish I could alleviate you of this problem and take the terrible burdon upon myself. I suggest you eat foods that are high in carbs like breads & pastas. That's what works for me....
