Your faith is based around two golden tablets.
Hill Cumorah in Palmyra, New York. According to the Mormons, this is were Mormon founder Joseph Smith received the Golden Tablets from the Angel Moroni, son of the Prophet Mormon, which Smith later translated into the Book of Mormon. When Smith started practicing polygamy, though, locals gave him the boot.
The angel Moroni does not exist in any other text in the world. A prophet is a human. There is not mormon named amoung the prophets. Also humans to not have angles as offspring. And not once in the torah or the new testiment does God used Gold for writing on. God carved the origianl tables from stone. There is a reason. God also when he had alters build required them to be build out of natural stone on which a workmans tool has never touch. When the stones were made to mark the place of the crossing in the river Jorden Once again God used natural stones.
When God wanted the land marked he used natural stone. So did God change?

God looks upon the heart of man. God has compared our hearts to to tables of stone. Then he gave us the origianl 10 commandments he put them on two tables of stone by his own finger he carved them. These stones contained the law of God. That Law is eternal and has not changed and shall not. God used stone because Jesus is the chief corner stone and he uses stone because we alone made it. Gold is a natural materials but it is unrefined and has to be processed in order to even look like gold. It is naturally defiled. Thus God does not use it in the ways you might think he does. So how did a angle refine Gold to make tables with. And why would they be more important then the stones that God carved with his own finger and how do you know God did it. In the case of mosus, mosus went up on a mountian for 40 day with nothing to carve with and came down with the stones and the people heard God. In the case of Joseph Smith they Just appeared all the sudden?

Also as God got more then angry at the building of the golden calf and split the earth and caused 25,000 to die because of worshiping the golden calf. Why do you not understand the problems with the golden tables?

One thing you need to remember - the plates were said to have the "appearance" of gold. Whatever they were written on should have no matter...I would think they were written on those tablets to ensure their longevity...but that's just me.
The golden calf - it would have not mattered it if was made out of spaghetti - the point is they were worshipping an idol.
Moroni was a prophet in the Book of Mormon times...of course he is not in the bible because he did not live on that continent!
I am not sure what your point is with humans having angels as offsrping...and no of course they don't and angels cannot have offspring. You need to realize there are different types of angels - they can be spirits who have never had a body or they can be resurrected persons...try looking up "angel" in the bible dictionary at LDS.org
You need to do some more research and not just go on about things you clearly do not fully understand, it's just making you sound silly.

Catholics believe that Faith proven with works Saves and that Salvation is an on-going process. We don't believe that doctrine of convenience: "Once Saved always Saved."

Catholicism has been around for 2,000 years. JWs n Mormons have been around less than 200 years.

Also, since you seem to be so good at Biblical quoting, do you even know where the Bible came from? It didn't fall from Heaven one day bound and edited by some 'born again preacher.'

In case you didn't know, the Catholic Church gave birth to the Bible; the Bible did NOT give birth to the Catholic Church. Catholicism predates the Bible by nearly four hundred years. The Catholic Church is NOT promoting another Gospel.

Are you people serious? Do you actually believe the junk that just falls out of your mouth. It amazes me how someone can just make some un-scripturally based comment about God using stone in the Bible and that means he can't use gold. Do you even listen to yourselves? If this is the best that you people can do then that's pretty sad. . .As for science proving the Bible, good luck on that one. Scientists in fact "disprove" the Bible all the time. It's a good thing my belief in the Bible, and the Book of Mormon, aren't based on "science," nor is it based on hear say and shallow psuedo-fact.

There is no logic to your argument. Are you saying that the writings of the apostles in the New Testament were written upon stone also? I'm guessing God wouldn't mind what you wrote upon as long as you got His word across. There is no reason to go much further, as you clearly seek opinions to support your bias and lack of reason and understanding (not meant to be mean spirited or disrespectful). Good luck.

I am very grateful that both the Bible and the Book of Mormon speak of God being the same yesterday, today and forever and one in whom there is no variableness nor shadow of turning.
It is too bad that the current LDS church does not acknowledge this teaching.

No I don't think Mormons have considered this. Most people with any common sense also have not considered this. Let me see if your logic is right why isn't the Bible written in stone?

i think i have considered all of these things.
but have you considered that the angel who was given the EVERLASTING Gospel to give to All the inhabitants of the earth, as described in Rev 14:6 was indeed the angel Moroni?

christianity is no more (or less) reliable or reasonable than mormonism. they are both cults, they are both based upon unprovable, silly myth.
