Hold breath until you cant hold anymore and let it out slowly. Keep doing this until you start to fell like your calming down. If this dont work then buck down and hold like you have to go to the bathroom or like you are having a baby. I do get heart palpatations (my hearts starts beating really fast) and I do these techniques and it really helps. If you dont start to calm down in like 15min go to the ER dont wait. hope this helps you

Just remember that nobody can tell that you're having a panic attack - it's not visible to everyone else.

A panic attack is just adrenaline in your system that is causing your heart to beat fast, sweating, not being able to breathe right, etc.. The rush of adrenaline will slow down in a few minutes if you just stop and take the time to breathe slowly. Thin of somewhere you feel safe - your bedroom? Think of somebody that you love holding you and stroking your head. Everything will be okay as soon as your body calms down. The adrenaline is what's making you feel scared, but it's just a chemical and can't hurt you.

Try the course by Lucinda Bassett and the Midwest Center for Anxiety and Depression.

God bless!

Just calm down. Try breathing in a paper back like someone else said...it does work. If it doesn't get better then go to the doctor they can give you medication to calm you down.

Sit in a comfortable spot. Consciously slow your breathing. Close your eyes. Imagine the most comfortable and secure place you've ever been....make your breaths deeper into your abdomen rather than shallow. Remember, it's just panic and you won't die from it. Remind yourself that it's just panic. Youve never died from it before and you won't now. Remember that it will pass. When it does... start a strenuous exercise program immediately.

Even tho you feel like you cant breathe just try to take slow steady breaths and it will pass .Generally a precurser is that one start to breathe really fast as one panics .But if you can control your breathing by taking the slow ,deep ,steady breaths you wont feel like you are choking .
It will pass !!
It has happened to me before and I'm still here .

Get off the computer, lay down and breath slowly in through your nose and out through pursed lips.

TELL YOURSELF YOU ARE IN CHARGE HERE AND THINK OF IT AS MIND OVER MATTER. IF YOU DONT MIND IT DOESNT MATTER. CALL THE EMERGENCY NUMBER AND GET A RESUSITATION UNIT TO HELP. MAYBE YOUR PLACE IS LACKING ENOUGH OXYGEN. HOPE I HELPED !
