how many of you believe in tarot cards or are willing to try and why?

i'm a tarot card reader and i'm very curious to know what ppl think about tarot.tarot cards are used for divination, it is a set of 78 crads somewhat like playing cards..

I believe that Tarot cards MIGHT give us glimpses into the future, but only on days when I'm really willing to take a leap of faith. ;-)

For the most part, I use Tarot cards as a window into the mind of myself or the person I'm reading for, as a way to help explore alternate trains of thought and/or to make decisions.

First while tarot cards are interesting and can be a good conversation device. No one can predict the future. For there are many paths and each choice we make today changes future options that will be available to you. But for a moment let us assume that the prediction is real. By know that it is a possibility you could very well do the things that would cause you to break up with your boyfriend and end up with the other person while trying to avoid it. Though from a purely worldly standpoint. Something else to consider. I assume your friend, the tarot reader, is female and single and well within dating age of your boyfriend. Something you might want to consider is the prediction to separate the two of you is not from the cards. But rather a desire to see your boyfriend out of a relationship. Or it could just be your friend doing a modified version of the old standard tarot reading that goes, “I see a tall dark and handsome stranger coming into your life that will sweep you off your feet. …..” The problem with worrying about such things is often we start looking so hard that we see things that are simply not there, and end up making a huge mistake over nothing more than our own fears and emotions. May Our Creator watch over you and your family.

I read or I should say I used to read Tarot Cards but seldom used them for divination purposes but rather as a guide to help when I needed some spiritual help or when someone else came to me for advice on a matter that was troubling them The pictures are used as a meditation tool and as a way of helping to open our mind so that we can "see" more clearly. I know there are given interpretations for each of the cards but I usually tried not to look at them but rather to allow them to open my "Intuitive" mind so that I would be able to interpret the message they were trying to tell me.

I have no problem with Tarot cards and sometimes do readings myself. I find it very useful as a meditation/self analysis tool.

I have no problem with it; but I don't practice the tarot myself. I tried some years back..but I just didn't feel it was for me. I'd rather use runes for divination.
