He can empower us to lead a whole nation into war with another on the pretext of WMD.
He can make us richer by exploting and bullying the poor around us.
He makes everyone fashion crazy and spents $$$$ on PRADA and branded goods when there could be lots more use for those $$$.

That is the devil actively working.
We still have free will though and the ability to choose...yet falling to the temptation is the devil winning.

He can tempt you with his evil music rock and rap and stuff. There are messages from the devil in songs like the beatles i think marilyn manson and eminem lots of other people. its called backmaking if im right i dont think im rihgt but anyway he tempts you with the worldy stuff. "be sober be vigilent because your adversay the devil as a roaring lion seeking whom he may devour"--- I Peter 5:8 im not sure for, word to word im a little rusty on that one

if satan didnt have enough knowledge to plague or harass God! if he didnt have anything comparable to God in knowledge and intelligence He wouldnt have ever believed he could Make war with Him and cause us to suffer, who will not bow down to any other gods.
Lucifere was cast down and became SATAN, he has enough knowledge to be an enemy to God and righteousness, but he cannot overcome the faith of the righteous who will not serve him, but at the same time satan can insult us and oppress us and torment us because his knowledge seems to rival the knowledge of creation.
the knowledge of creation is finite, so is the knowledge of the universe. what makes the difference is the will to WIN and be able to completely overcome an adversary.

he uses deception, with the occult arts trying to lead us in with a promise of hidden power. But yes if he can attack you and make you sick, he wants to kill rob and destroy, but if you are a christian then he cant bother you too much although he will try, you need the name of Jesus to overcome him and in that name you can get Gods holy spirit and he cant to anything to you. go read john3 and Ephesian 6-10
