Be postive in life. Help everybody to your maximum. Do not have any expectations i.e "Do your duty and do not expect returns" ( Bhagavad Gita) Thats all to do.

Dealing with friends is an art which a person learns as life moves on. A certain amount of time is needed to get to know a friend and his/her characteristics, likings, reservations etc. It is important to spend time with friends. As friendship grows, you should also take care of getting rid of possessiveness. Allowing our friends freedom is a must in friendship. Maturty in friendship is manifested also in your ability to introduce your friend to others. Wise friends allow a certain space between their friendship. This is important for each other to breath.
You can learn a lot on friendship by looking around you and watching how good friends are growing up together.

Though we may appear friendly, we have to deal strictly and correctly, even with our friends. They should be some kind of sense of justice, so u don't keep taking things from your friend, but also give something in return. Don't open up fully in front of your friends or give them a chance to stab u from the back. If u find their actions are not consistent with their words, keep monitoring their actions, and do not allow them to back stab.

I would just punch them in the face if they turned out to stab me in the back for whatever reason....

And if they end up being your enemy...drop them like a bad habit....if they turn out to be your enemy...they werent you friends to begin with...does that make any sense?

been there, done that. forget about them, and move on. sometimes people are too selfish for their own good, and stab each other in the back. you don't need them.
