Is there any way to improve one's eyesight in an effective way?

my eyesight is weak and I wear specs. My glasses no is 2.0. I found it very irritating wearing glasses. so I want to learn about the treatments or methods that could help me out in improving my eyesight (a method other than using lens).

Yes there sure is > I have a friend of mine that had the lazer sugery and It has been almost 5 years now and there doing just great. They can see perfect as though they had never worn glasses. I no what you mean but for me I just dont have the money to do this. Many person are afraid thinking that if they do this they might not ever see again. Modern ways of medical is amazing. There is always a risk at any sugery that you do, But it is not as expenisve as it use to be. If I had the money I would do it in a minute.

I'm not sure what 2.0 is. It seems you are not myopic.
I am short sighted and improved them with excercises. There's a book you can get but unfortunately I can't remember what it is called. I did the excercises for nearly two years. My eyes went from 5.5 and 4.5 to 3.5 and 2.5

yes and you don't need laser's to do so.

you simply need to do this. (by the way most people dont need glasses. even the eye dr will tell you this. many people are just lazy-yes i said it-and so their eye's become that way as well)

start by looking at something far-then quickly-look at something close-keep doing this-say about 100 times before you go to bed at night or anytime really (try doing it as many times as you can a day) what it does is strengthen your eye muscles (yes they exist) and focus. you can also (my wife did this and it worked for her) get a string of beeds (there's special ones out there for this but i don't know what they are called my wife has them but she's asleep right now) anyway-and simply hold from your tip of your nose outward (like you would do with a pencil to make you cross eyed) and try to focus in on each bead as you do it. this to will make your eyesite better.

your eyes are like muscles as well-the more you work them the stronger they'll be. many baseball players use the things i just mentioned because it helps them to focus faster and pick up pitches faster.
