clubbed with another taste? Do you mean "grouped" or "categorized" with another taste?
Water is, naturally, tasteless, meaning it should not taste like anything. Our taste groups (taste areas on the tongue) are: Sweet, Salty, Bitter, and Sour.
Pure water is not sweet, salty, bitter, or sour.
Mineral water is somewhat bitter. This is not the taste of the water, this is the taste of the minerals IN the water. Also, tap water has minerals in it, plus any additives your city or water source might put in it. For instance, LA puts flouride in their tap water.
If you're talking about Aquafina or Evian or Dasani or some other bottled water, most of those are mineral water or "spring" water, meaning it probably has some sort of mineral in it, which will cause it to be slightly bitter.
Bitter is the taste of something like the pith of an orange rind (the white part just under the skin) or the "bad" taste of most hard liquor, like whiskey or rum. Usually, the stronger the liquor (proof) the more bitter it is.
What is the taste of PURE water? Tasteless/Nothing.

YES - I do like the taste. While labouring in the sun, drinking a cup of pure water is the most nourishing drink. 2nd prference is for the tender coconut for me. For better knowledge, there are 5 things in the universe like what you told. One is Sky - colourless; shapeless, tasteless, noiseless, smell-less; 2nd, is fire - we can see, but no other 4 qualities; 3rd Air having lack of 3 qualities; 4th is water having lack of 2 qualities and then earth. that can sense with all ouf 5 senses.

water has a "watery" taste. that can't be clubbed with any other taste. In fact, if you add water to most of the liquid beverages, it'll make them taste watery.

I don't think so. I assume you mean healthy clean water that doesn't have an undertaste of chemicals or minerals. I would say clean, fresh, odorless.

To me it's soothing. I know that isn't a normal flavor, but that's the only way I know how to describe it.
