I've tried it. It does work, if you don't eat anything else... except for diet soda and salad. I also found that you could do the exact same thing, for a lot less, by buying meals like "Healthy Choice" or "Lean Cuisine".

I tried this awhile back. I don't think I was paying enough attention to the infomercial because I was under the impression that the system was your food...and that was the convenience behind it. But when it got to my door and I read the guide I found out that you had to supplement all the fresh dairy, fruits, and vegetables. So the system cost me around $350 for the month. I can't remember exactly, but it was around that amount. Then I had to spend an extra $200 a month on the other food. That's WAY too much money for convenience. Plus the food is nowhere near as good as they let on. You can forget about meat. Anything that had meat in it was about 3 little pieces of the meat and the rest was gravy. The taste was a little below that of high school cafeteria food. Plus I got frequent headaches while using the system. I have a sensitivity to MSG. While there wasn't any MSG, I'm guessing it was all those other preservatives in it that did me in. I mean, think about it...all the foods are shelf stable, they're laden with preservatives. And I was hungry all the time while on the plan. I actually gained weight while on the plan because I found it so hard not to snack. I know that's my willpower and not the company's fault though. But I refuse to believe that I have to starve myself to be healthy. The chocolate is also not as good as all the people in the testimonies claim. It's a soy product loosely based on chocolate. The only good thing about the system is the little microwaveable soups. In summary...it's too expensive, not as convenient as promised, the taste is way below claims, the testomonies raving that you'll never be hungry are false, and all those preservatives just can't be healthy. You'd be better off all around to just learn portion control and how to cook a balanced meal.

Hi I tried Nutrisystem and it worked a little but not as well as I had hoped. It was also very very expensive. I was on this for three months and lost 20 pounds, which is okay but not for what I was paying. You have to follow the guidelines to the letter or it wont work. I have since switched to Herbalife, which is way cheaper and has worked so much better, a friend of mine who lost over 100 pounds recommended it to me. if you want to improve your health generally, lose weight and have more energy then getting some nutritional help is vital. Once your body starts to absorb the right nutrients and vitamins and protein then you’ll be amazed how quickly you will feel the difference, usually within the first 48 hours if you get the right supplements and help. I had no energy and felt just generally rotten all round so I sought the advice of a nutritional coach (whose advice was FREE) and got myself some great products, I even got free samples before I got started so I could see just how good they were!! There is a website called myhealthabc.com If go on there and fill out the details (you must be over 18 and you’ll need a debit or credit card-or someone who can help you) page you will get a call with no pressure about what you need. There is a mall area as well that’s got some great info and its all set out with easy to follow headings so you can find what you want. It’s so easy and the stuff they have is excellent. I have been using their products for over two years and I feel great. I lost 70 pounds in less than seven months!! My sister lost 60 pounds in five months. The stuff is amazing. Try them you won’t be disappointed. I even started to use their skin care range last year and my skin is in such good condition now.

Hi as a nutritionist I would never recommend this system to my clients. It is expensive for one thing and not the best in terms of getting your body all the right ingredients it requires to function properly. If you eat a sensible diet with lots of fruit and veg you would be better off. If your schedule doesnt allow you the time to prepare good food then use a good natural replacement. If you are going to diet then using something like meal replacement shakes and supplements is fine but make sure you use a well established reputable company. One of the ladies has recommended herbalife and they are very good. You will ensure that your body gets all that it needs to stay healthy and lose weight quickly. Do not buy anything off the shelf in your local grocery store, use the professionals that are available to you. You will find you can lose weight, feel good and save yourself some money.

Food is gross.
Burgers are de-hydrated, pudding is gritty, ham is like Spam.
Customer service stinks. I had to wait on hold for over 40 minutes to cancel subscription.
Very expensive..
Lost less than 5 lbs....over $60.00 per pound.
