I'd have to say German, but not because of any past associations. Well spoken German has many glottal stops and this makes the language sound as if the speakers are always emphasising something or giving orders. Exactly the opposite is heard in Spanish, for example, where words are run into each other without a stop (sinalefa.)

This young man has reached his limits on coping, and he does need you/ his mother and his dad and a support group with adult men, and therapy support.... He has been abused, so that is unresolved and still underlying everything.... He has lost his parents support, and doesnt see his dad enough..... his safety has been severely comprimised by this, the divorce, the bullies, and all that is new in his life and all that he has lost when you (your friend) gets him help make sure he knows it is not because he is crazy, just support and a place to talk Talk to him everyday, as much as possible, before it is too late I am worried for him This would strain the healthiest individual... not to mention a 12 year old He sounds like and intelligent sweet kid, and believe me when i say i agree with the ones who say parents are out of touch with what schools are like and all kids have to deal with everyday... You all better start REALLY supporting him, giving him lots of positive feedback...lots.. understanding, talk to him, He is on the brink.. and if you dont intervene, he will become a hellion, because that is all that is left... He is doing the best he can to get his anger out safely.... that is to be commended, but it is getting destructive... If you dont deal with it all now, and get him the help he needs, it willl be far worse in just a few years... you wont be able to reach him at all... Let him be himself, a little intellectual, find him role models, love, love love him... and teach him this free method , and do it with him..... i know it works... IF he is being bullied, and i think he is... you have to intervene... and his mom..... be there for him, get angry about the abuse... teach him how to defend himself, report the children doing it, and protect him.... do it now..... tell your friend... get busy... some support sites with info below and a free healing method.. take it seriously, i dont doubt he feels really alone in all this And someday soon get his hormones checked and balanced and learn what to do to help with those, as the adrenals are oftencomprimised with all this stress, and he is being hit with testosterone or soon will be, and mom could get checked also... specialists below

well i think that german being aggresive thing is a left over of all those world war 2 movies. I dont think german sounds agressive when people talk calmly. Especially when spoken by women i find it rather nice sometimes. AI always found the sound of japanese pretty hard, but then again i have to admit i havent hard to much of it.

When people speak in german, it feels like they are interrogating each other. Maybe it is just because Germans play the bad guys in movies and video games.

Well...lets face it....it can, sound pretty much that way.
People's memories are long, and well they don't forget .....
Its not the most violent...but it also is not the one people want to hear! esp/if your louder than others?
Well I sure don't to tell the truth, makes me think of the past...
But! I'm not young, so maybe younger people have no problems with it....

The angriest sounding language is the one you understand and in which someone is angry at you.
The rest is simply misunderstanding and misinterpretation - once you understand the language it all shifts...
