True religion means LOVE of ALL living entities-just like St Francis did,as well as the first christians, who were massacred by "mad"christian leaders of the time:look :google-cathares..
Living in hate of animals-makes one a demon:lover of cruelly-killed animals,instead of vegetables-so healthy(organic) and divine....
But some have made the change at
christianveg group-yahoo......
hope you join in,and go to paradise...

Peace to you!
Yes there are a number of Christians who are hypocrites and led by blind leaders. But then someday, somewhere, somehow all these 'blindness' will be corrected through faith that goodness will win. All we have to do is to pray and make sure that we ourselves are true in our conviction that we follow the teachings of Christ and be a good example to our fellowmen.
God Bless You.

On the contrary, most Christians aren't hypocrites at all, just the ones that make the headlines in the "newspapers".You'll find that the most selfless, devoted, loving Christians are usually pretty quiet and low key. There are millions of them, and no one notices them. When there's no controversy, there's no interest... ergo: no press.

Get you definitions straight.

You say that you are a Christian right? To be a Christian means to be "Christ-Like" and Christians use the Bible as a guide to teach us how to live our lives like Christ. If God put in his Word that we can eat meat as long as we bless it and thank Him for it, then what is the problem?

We are not to be cruel to animals just as we are to love our neighbor as we love ourselves.

And excuse me if I am wrong here, but where in the Bible does it say that vegetables are divine? Are you Catholic? Where is this coming from? You have to study yourself and do not rely on what others say. Pray and ask God for discernment and wisdom. Don't get caught up in your flesh and your own ideas of what is right and wrong. Your comments and question is the very reason that God gave us the Holy Spirit. To help us and open up our spiritual connection between us and God.

In order to find out if you are truely being led by a man or woman of God, try their spirit by the Spirit of God. Believe me when I say God will reveal if they are annointed by Him or not, by their words, their actions, their power, and their lifestyle. Find yourself a church that DOES have annointed leaders, and have lifestyles that line up with the WORD of GOD. The only way you will know that is by searching the scriptures yourself.

Last thing, People are influenced by, and can be possessed by demons. Period. They are not born or made into them. People are used by them. And it is the choice of the person. because of their ignorance, or because the have the knowledge of God and are in a backslidden condition or repribate mind state, or they ASK for it.

Remember, it is GOD that is Love, not religion.

Rise Peter, kill and eat. - Acts 10:13
True religion (Judaism) has been fulfilled. God is not religious nor does He want us to be specifically. He wants a relationship with us; He is radical and alive and the words of Jesus that are recorded fly in the face of religion. Christianity is not a religion. Religion is man made. Christianity is God made. Religion is mans way to God. Christianity is Gods way to (have fellowship with and to live in His creation) man.

Uh...ok. So this is just an advertisment for your Yahoo group? Vegan Christians, huh? The bible actually says the animals are for eating so, in that respect, they aren't being hypocritical for once.

This is simple to answer. The loudest and most forceful of any religion is usually the worst at following their own words.

One day, you will learn that vegetables are also living things and they too have souls. They will eventually become animals, and as animals will eventually become humans. The lower the life form the lesser the karma, but vegetables are living things too, so your point loses value.

No, but Christians are all doubters at some points. However, Christ's message is clear. None of us are without sin! So, as Christ said, "He who is without sin, cast the first stone!" Look within yourself brother! That is a Christian's job.
