As I wrote to some user with a similar question, energy user devices made us if not part of us, to live better, longer, safer and healthier than in the past decades. In the same time I think energy and technology changed our lives in a way that our ancestors couldn't predict it ever, but in the same time destroyed partially and mean to more destruction stepping of what Nature gave us and stepped even on the Nature itself. Nowadays technologies for being competitive must make energy based devices with more and more energetic efficiency, and restoring and fixing the problems what other energy devices made in the past, for making us a better, greater living and safer world.

If in the future the technology which makes them must evolve in making us a better and better life, because if doesn't evolve, the problems remained unsolved will be more and more but not for long...even the human kind will perish under the phrase "They are making you a better world, a better tomorrow for you to sleep well"

As new technology progresses by the second., energy devices
together with energy saving devices, did make an impact on our lives.

When I was 6 years old forty years ago., I can barely hold an analogue telephone line, even wondering what voice was coming out of the earpiece.

Now, my son age 6, can operate this personal computer at home and can communicate using cellphones!

It also made our electric bills soar up to at least US$ 60.00 per month, that's the only drawback personally.

There were several fires that hit the city, mostly striking the old buildings in downtown area., primarily because of the overloaded electrical system.

What can an electrical wiring done 50 years ago hold ?

Definitely only electric fans, transitor radio and incandescent lighting., so fifty years later, you add airconditioning units, comupters, heaters, and the other comforts of modern living.

What is the effect ? A major conflagration.
