Uh?
How about starting with a friend who happens to be a boy and work your way on from there.
You seem to assume that a boyfriend means an intimate relationship when it doesn't.
Make some friends first and stop being so silly.

NOOOOO! I am 26 and have never had a boyfriend, although luckily for me, my parents are very open minded about it and can understand that I am just not the girlfriendy type. It's seriously just not an interest of mine or a goal that I want to pursue. I have dated a LOT of different guys and am usually bored within 2 hours, so why would I want to commit to that and give up my great lifestyle just to have a boyfriend? Dumbtown.
Also, the other major problem is that if you did that, it would be SOOO unfair to the guy. Having someone date you because you fit the bill as opposed to because someone really really wants to be with YOU specifically, that sucks. And you would probably try it and not be into the guy and dump him. And hurt his feelings.
Be happy being single. If you meet someone that you crave like oxygen, then go out with him, if not, you're just wasting your time and your life.

Don't go out with someone "just to have a boyfriend". You're doing both you and them a disservice. You're not a prude, this is more common than you think. Get involved in extra curricular activities, things that you're passionate about and then that way you'll be exposing yourself to meeting new people and you'll have a better chance of finding that someone you WANT versus someone you'll settle for. Don't give up!

Are you sure you really want/need one? It doesn't matter what other people think, it's you who would be having the relationship. If you can be happy with yourself, then in my opinion that is best.
