No matter if you are 15, 35 or any other age a social worker or family services can take a child away. What matters is how the baby is being treated. These people look out for the best interest of children by making sure they are being properly being taken care of. At 15 if you can or you and your family or father of the child can give a loving home where they are cared for, feed, safe, happy, healthy and educationedthen they will not. If this is a concern of yours I would like to say I know friends who had kids young and are great parents, so age (although it is tough when your young) does not mean you are going to be a bad parent and they will take your child from you. Also, social workers or planned parenthood centres can help you if you are worried. They can help you with parenting classes, finding support groups, finishing school for yourself and jobs. Wishing you the best!

It depends on your situation. If you have a stable home situation and other people in your life to help out, they won't take the baby away just because of your age.
If that's not the case and you can't take care of the baby at home right now, but you don't want to give it up for adoption, there are teen pregnancy centers that will help you find a way to care for your baby if you are committed to being a good parent. If you make an effort to learn good parenting skills and find a good living situation for your child BEFORE it is born, good social workers should want you to succeed as a parent and help you find the resources to do that.

Social workers do not take your child just for age alone. Many things will be considered such as the condition of the home and living conditions, whether that person or others around them do drugs or illegal substances, whether the child is neglected or not and many other factors play a role. You have to be proven unfit in some way.

a social worker can take a child away no matter what age the parents are. If there are signs of abuse and or neglect then they can do such no matter what the age of the parents are

Your age will not be the deciding factor in their decision to take the child away. If you can support the child (or have family that can help you out) and are a fit mother, then they can't take the child away. But if you can't care for the kid, they will take him or her away no matter what your age is.

if you can't financially support the baby or provide for all its needs then yes, or if theres neglect or abuse then most definately.
at 15 a girl is really not ready to be a parent. for one a 15 yr old usually can't get a good enough job to support a baby.

Sorry.....I as well as a few others thought that your child was 15. Your child can be taken no matter what age you are, but.....BUT you are in a better position if you are under the age (15...16....17..etc) b/c your mother can legally take the child....no questions asked......good luck

Only if the child is being neglected, abused or has bad living arrangments. Just take good care of your baby and you will be fine.

As long as the baby has a good home and everything he's suppose to have there should be no reason why they would take him away
