No. I was raised Hindu, but I never learned who God really was or even the philosophies behind karma and reincarnation. I saw that there were a bunch of weird-looking gods and goddesses and lots of myths and crazy rituals involving fire and food. On the other hand, I was exposed to Christianity with its philosophy of sacrifice, exclusion, eternal damnation, and some evil force called the devil that God could not control.
Nothing made sense, so I was atheist for about 8 yrs of my life.
THEN, I started asking questions, like "why would God allow the devil to live?" And things like this. Every question I asked, I found an answer that made sense to me. Then finally, I realized that all those answers came from true Hinduism, not the ritualistic stuff that I had known. So I came back. I'm a born-again Hindu.

No, Its not impossible to believe in God again. Because all things are possible with God. We all have a spark of God in Our souls when we are born. It can ignite during our life. Even the Atheist in his last hour of death will call out Gods name.

When I left home and faced the realities of the world,
I put my thoughts of God in cold storage for awhile,
because I couldn’t reconcile what I believed,
deep inside, with what was going on around me.
But that early period, when God was
as real as the wind that blew from the sea
through the pine trees in the garden;
left me with inner peace, which, as I grew older, swelled –
until, perforce, I had to open my mind to God again.

God no! Humans would not have survived our first steps without being very skeptical. It is in fact, the nature of Religion to investigate this thing called God, and these rituals called Religion.
The fact is, that mankind appears to have always had faith in a Higher Power who was also giving them the knowledge and substance to live.
That people have had faith in this concept of God, a personification, being, potential, creator is just a fact of life. Humans need to be able to reflect on life and their own life and have faith that the reflection is meaningful and substantive.
We think of it as an explicable and necessary bound between themselves and all that they witness, understand, conceive and love.
But this reality is not an ease one to maintain at times. Some losses are just too demanding and hard to overcome and accept.
Life comes with great pain and suffering one way or another.
So, your doubts are part of having faith in life, the circle of life.

The bible states that the only "Unpardonable sin" is "Blasphemy against the Holy Spirit." It also states "Ye [using the word in your question] believe in God, ye do well; the devils also believe, and tremble." No, I do not believe that is true at all. I think I have a choice every day (half-day, hour, minute...) to believe and OBEY God in my life. I know He wants the best for me (all humans), but I also know that it is up to me to obey Him as I understand Him in my life to receive that which He desires me to have; first and foremost being a personal relationship with Him.

Hmmmm. Well, it does say anybody who leaves God can not come back or something, but I believe that my Bible Commentary is probably right when it was saying that that verse was hypothetical. I found it diffucult for one to believe that whoever has been called will ever completely abondon God, though of course he will sin, even greatly at times. Also, John 17:6-12 says: "I have revealed you to those whom you gave me out of the world. They were yours; you gave them to me and the obeyed your word etc.... None has been lost except the one doomed to destruction so the scripture would be fulfilled. (Very probably the one is Satan or the antichrist or something, which leaves the rest of the people in the Kingdom of God to die saved.

Not true. I am a convert from Taoism and it is a whole set of different beliefs as well as practices from Christianity. It involves idolatry practices and so on, which are completely against the Bible's teachings. But I was touched by the Holy Spirit 1 day, I could feel its presence when I went through my conversion experience. Do not be afraid to ask questions whenever in doubt about the Old and New Testaments. God reveals Himself in many countless and glorious mysterious ways.

Depends on why you stoped believing in god. Most likely if they just did it out of hatred and rebellion they might have a chance. But the people like me who do it out of logic and reason after studying all sides. Will never become a believer again. But anything is possible I suppose.

No, I don't think thats true..I think, sooner or later you'll start searching for God again, and you might find Him in a different form from what you stopped believing in...its too big a void to ignore :)

I once new a man who lost a loved one in a gruesome manner. His friend was shot dead in a church during a service. He said he did not believe in God anymore. On his death bead I heard him say "I'm sorry Father for the wrongs I have done please forgive me and take me back it was never your fault, I love you."
I think in his case He might not have believed for a while but when his time came close he changed his mind, Lucky for most of us that can happen.
