Eddy Gordo
Listen to me, mate. Very shy or not, let me tell you something from first hand experience. Give the bastard things away!!! Stop, cease and desist, absolutely, right now, TODAY!!!
Then, you won't have to tell them that you're an idiot who smokes - problem solved.
I've smoked for the last 44 years and wish I had never damn well started. Worst damned thing I ever did.
Beside the fact that I could have retired years ago with the money I've wasted on the filthy bloody things, I would be able to walk up the road without risking a heart attack. And my shortness of breath (early emphysema) ain't a picnic either.
And what about the stink? EVERYTHING stinks like an ashtray - clothes, hair, breath, house, car, the lot!
If you never do anything else in your life, you MUST give the stinking things away, NOW, because the longer you leave it the harder it is going to be.
Not trying to preach to you Ed, but you can learn from MY mistake.
Think seriously about what I've said and make up your own mind - and good luck

Eddy, first of all, I suggest you find a way to quit smoking, that's probable not what you wanted to hear. Your parents will find out by the smell. Some people I know is easy to distinguish if they smoke or not, they smell like an ash tray. I hate to be so blunt, but that was the only way I knew how to answer. Good luck on your decision

lol-If your parents don't smoke, you don't have to, they WILL smell it on you really soon. (mine did me when I started & still do smell that I smoke.) p.s.: If I were you I'd quit now. the longer you smoke, the harder it will be to quit,-I wish I never started.

Just light up right in front of them, take a long drag and blow the smoke in their direction, then say "MAN, I needed that!".

isnt it the other way around? not wanting to tell.
if you are legal age.... tell them straight out.
if you are not... tell them. and let them know that you want to be honest with them. maybe they'll even it out.
good luck.
