Bodybuilding have only little chances to stunt growth. Even though your body may still be developing, you would only stunt your growth if you were constantly putting heavy resistance on your legs. If you work your legs once a week, you have nothing to worry about. Remember that muscles need 48 hours of recuperation after a workout.

It’s a myth that youth weight training is the cause of problems. I know this from my own personal experience and extensive reading on the subject for my children. Actually, boys playing put themselves under far more stress than would occur with adult supervised weight training.

Nope...it only builds muscle. The height is covered by the pituitary gland. Body building does not really engage it so there is not an increase in height.

It actually may decrease, due to increased stress placed on the spine. I don't know though, just a thought.
