I have curly hair and straighten it about once a week, i do notice that i lose some hair when starightening but I dont believe straigtening irons can cause hair to fall out, when you see your hair coming out when you straighten it its probabley hair that has already fallen off the scalp but hasnt made its way out of your hair until you actually pull on it using the straightner.
I like ceramic starighteners, it makes me feel im not damaging my hair so much, and also i just started using a heat protector called alberto vo5 miracle mist that works well but these 2 suggestions are optional.
also my friend straightens her hair everyday (she has wavy hair) and she still has a full head of hair!

Staightening your hair dries it out unnaturally, and burns it partly. It weakens your hair so as that that's extra brittle, and it additionally will advance frizz while your hair is un-straightened. shielding spray might help in some approaches, even nevertheless it can not adress all issues stemming from straightening. in the adventure that your hair is falling out on the value of a few strands an afternoon, that's thoroughly generic, it rather is the follicle being replaced, even nevertheless, as much as twenty strands is unquestionably a volatile sign.

It is not the heat of the straightening, but the pull that often goes along with it. Any unnecessary pulling of the hair can cause this problem. The extent of the issue depends on how often, how tight you pull and the condition of your hair and scalp.
Of course, depending on your genetics and age, your hair issue may not be from the iron, but I would consider it until you determine the cause. Even still, if you are loosing it naturally, I would avoid excessive use of the iron.

No your hair will not fall out. Ive been straightening my hair for 6 years and it has never fallen out and I have very thick, full hair. It will break if you dont use heat protector though.
