You know how some guys like girls to chase them down by calling them, initiating contact, etc.Why is that?

You know I've wondered about this myself. And the conclusion I've come down to is that it is the 21st century. Women hold powerful positions in the government, make 6 digit incomes, hold successful careers, and some even juggle a husband, kids, taking care of a house and a full time job. I think that women are sometimes afraid to initiate contact because of fear of being too aggressive, fear of rejection or that you're bugging this person. Though it's nice to think the old fashioned way, where the man jump starts everything , we've made leaps and bounds in many many things...why not in the world of dating? If you want to call the guy, call him! Don't wait around for him to call you. And if he doesn't like the fact that you're taking control of the situation, then he's not the right one for you. You only live once and life is too short. You don't want to wonder what could've been. So I say, go for it! I'm sure many men will appreciate this.

It's got to be hard for guys to always have to be the one to make the first call or initiate a conversation. Maybe some just like to be pursued once in awhile or maybe they are insecure.

Some guys just dont have the confidence and arnt completely sure if the girl likes them or not so they wont initiate things.

because they are players... they want attention and they treat romane like a game... they dont really want a relationship... they just want the attention and the sex. dont go 4 them... they are bad news and will break ur heart once they get what they want. Good luck!

because it makes them feel attractive, us women are the flirts and the men are the ones that play hard to get. but they don't realize when they see a women responding to them that is attractive and wants him he still plays hard to get and does nothing she gives up and moves on

there is a period of uncertainity that needs to pass over in one's mind....... you initating contact can clear it
