I have 2 unfixed male kitties Stoli(9months) Stealthi (6 months). They both have boners all the time. They sit there and like their boners in the middle of the room. It is so gross. Stoli and Stealthi have recently started mounting each other. THey will hold the other by neck and hump him til he cums. We have 3 females that the males won't even go near. Will getting them fixed correct this? Stoli is set to be fixed Feb 26th. I have been against doing this. He has never sprayed and always been calm and sweet. I am really worried he will change when I get this done.

I knock them off each other but they go right back to doing it. I really don't want to get Stoli fixed there is no reason to he doesn't spray, he refuses to go out side ( female in heat or not). He is sweet and calm.

Animals mount things that are odd. My girl dog used to mount the male dogs head. Funny looking but a bit disturbing in a way. Anyways, get them fixed and soon, should help.

This is why people should always make sure they can afford their animals! Wash the wounds in salt water immediately, DO NOT apply human medicines on the wound, apart from bandages. If you have any or can try and find someone who does, wrap them around the wounds if you can. Try and get your hands on a collar so that he cannot get to the area. Also, your mum should NOT have let the cat out if she wanted it to stay where it was - cats have amazing instincts and will often try and find their way back to their old home or owners ect. She should have kept the other cat in for at least two weeks before letting him out. In the meantime I suggest you do try and find someone who is willing to loan you some money for the vet or something because this cat needs a vet, he might need stitches, if there's any infection the vet can administer antibiotics, ect. I repeat, NEVER give a cat human medicine. Also, keep the poor thing warm and make sure he has plenty of water. EDIT - Just read one of the other answers. Do NOT!!!!! Use hydrogen peroxide on your cat. It damages the tissue of the flesh/skin.

It appears your animals don't have human hang ups. Do get your animals neutered. There are just too many cats in this world and it does not change their disposition. It may stop your cat from taking off because he went after a female and so keep him safe and at home.

all animals do that. i have 2 male dogs ones fixed and ones not. they mount each other. once they get along there wont be any of that going on. there just telling each other who's boss. but i would let them know that Ur boss by telling them not to do it. if u don't like it when they do. they will start listening.

Hi there...when cats mount one another it is to establish dominance--top/alpha cat. Getting them neutered will resolve the sexual behaviour and should be done as soon as possible because when they begin to urine spray it becomes habitual and more difficult to stop aftwards.

Neutering prevents urine spraying, aggression, the desire to roam in male cats. Additionally, neutering removes the risk of testicular or prostate cancer as well.
