why is it the a lot of women tend to date emo's?

Because they seem deep and sensitive.
I personally am not into them, I've tried it and Emo is really right. They freak out and get upset over NOTHING. And they can be a little bit flakey I think as a result of low self-esteem. However, a lot of Emo guys tend to be really smart and hold good conversation, they'll talk to you for ages about art and music and films and not keep trying to redirect the conversation to sex.
As far as I am concerned, any guy who is going to burst into tears on a date (YES, IT ACTUALLY HAPPENED) needs to grow some gonads.
