I got a watch as a gift from a bf. When I was looking for the instruction on how to shorten the wristband, I came upon the warranty. The warranty was filled out with date of purchase from last year. It was purchased a year and 3 months ago, but we only been together for 2 months. I am disturbed by the discrepancy, should I ask him about it. I think he might of regifted his ex's watch. Now, I wish I never received anything from him.

I feel hurt because if I were to get him something for his birthday, I would of spent hours trying to find the perfect gift.

His intentions were honest, I think. I know a lot of people who buy lots of gifts ahead of time, put them in the closet, then give them out later. I could see how the though of him having someone else in mind when he purchased the watch would bother you. I'd let it go. Once again, I think he had the best of intentions when he gave you the watch.

I would pretend as if nothing was wrong next time your together and grab the box with the warranty and act like it's the first time your reading it. Then say something like whoa, where did you get this, look at this warranty!

well..yea thats a good gift. but to me, i think a better gift would be the homemade card with some money in it or a giftcard. but yea, i think thats a cool idea for a "coupon" for a home made meal =D maybe along with it, give some money too.

I will ask my bf when he bought this watch.It is important for me to know that he loves me.If really loves me he will struggle all the way to get the best for me not the abandoned X's gifts.

wow. thats a really hard question, maybe ask him to point out the warranty for it, that way he kind of has to show you. thats a hard one...

well in my opinion is that well curiosity sometimes comes and well you want to know and if that person really likes you they will tell you the truth and you will notice if they are lying and if they are well move on
