Here we go; I am sixteen years old and the girl I might still like is fifteen. I understand when you ask the popular question: "Will you go out with me?" is generally a yes or a no. When she said "no" (obviously not "no" but something like "that is really sweet but i dont feel i am ready for that") she was scared that I would never talk to her again. She told me that she didnt want me to never talk to her again and wanted to remain really good friends. I asked her out about a week ago and ever since she has said "no" to me, she has become closer to me, wanting more intention, always initiating conversations and enjoying them even more with me. I told her I would never ask her out again, and I wont. DONT get the impression that she is playing hard to get; I know forsure she isn't. My question is what should I do now? And why is she doing this? PLEASE do not give a simple "move on man" as an answer; think about it . The more input and advice the better; this means alot, thanks a million!

Wow... this girl sounds like she has her head on her shoulders.
You should respect her if she is mature enough to tell you that she doesn't feel ready for that yet.
It sounds like she does like you so you should just stay her friend and get to know her better and when she is ready, I bet she will let you know.

She MIGHT be playing hard to get, or she might have someone else in mind that she is talking to and just want to keep you as her "backup". Or she might just wanna be your friend. Females are confusing sometimes, because when us males like them and we feel a vibe from them that she might like us, we then approach them then BAM!!!!!!! She looks @ you as a good friend and doesnt want to ruin the friendship you all have.

But if your patient enough to wait and see what the outcome of your relationship, then be my guest. Just dont wait around tooo long, cuz next thing you know, she'll pop up with a BF with a guy she told you NOTHING about. Just be careful. Im 25 yrs old and Im STILL learning how to judge if a woman likes me or not....lol

Believe me, I'm a 15 year old girl, and sometimes we can't control our flirting. Maybe she can't date you but she still likes you. Maybe she's just glad because somebody likes her and she wants to keep feeling that (something my friend is known to do) I'm not trying to scare you off, it's just some girls like it when guys give them attention. Maybe she wants a good guy friend. This was me, I use to like a guy and found out he liked the friend I talked about before. So, I tried my hardest to get over him, but you can't force yourself to like or dislike somebody, but eventually I did. Now, we're close friends; we email a lot, but he doesn't really talk to me at school, I have to start it. It depends on your situation really; the girl, your friendship prior.
1)Ask yourself if you still like this girl. It's not your fault if you do or don't. You have no control over your heart.
2)Find out what she's thinking. I vent to my guy friend all the time and kind of offer information about my feelings and stuff.
Most likely, she needs a friend. That's why I decided to tell my guy friend so much, I wanted to know a guy's head and in the process, he got an insight into mine. A nice trade off.
She said no for a reason, but that doesn't mean she doesn't like you. Maybe it's not the right time, or she likes you, but isn't allowed to date. My guy friend started liking me after I found out he liked my friend (for over a year), so our timing just didn't match. She might not be the right one, but don't worry, you'll find someone. And you can still be friends, it just takes some time. Relax. And when I was trying to get over the guy I liked, it took venting, not being around him all the time, and plain old fashion time. Good luck.

I think that maybe either she thinks she is too young to date or maybe her parents do and they are strict. My dad was really strict and wouldn't let me date until I was 16. I did go out with a couple of guys before that, but it sucked because I had to go behind my dad's back and I could not hang out with these boyfriends.
Or maybe she thinks that you want to have sex and she is not ready for that. It could also be she does like you but she is nervous about going out, kissing, or whatever.
It is hard to tell what it is for sure, but at least she still wants to hang out aroung you. Hopefully soon she will be ready to date and let you know. Untill then, just be glad to be friends and good luck.

I know this means a lot to you, and its a very complex, important issue. But...

move on, man. You're in the friend zone.

Me thinks she considers you as just a friend, but is not attracted to you. Tease her - that might bring her around.
