keep looking for her. if she had a name tag on with your address the odds go up a lot. but if you cant find her she will most likely be able to survive on her own.

she will just be playing. she will come back don't worry. dont leave food out for her as you want her to come back to the house. how old is she? our 6 month old was ready to go out after a week, the younger ones we kept in for longer but still knew where home was. She is just being a cheeky teenager and will come back, she knows her home. If she was scared of outside she wouldnt have jumped out so she is probably being an inquisitive puddy cat. If she used to be an outside cat as well the liklihood is you wont be able to make her an indoors cat eaily. Go outside, call her name (and if she had an old one call that too), listen, look up trees and also, you must do this if you live near other houses, post a note asking allneighbours to check their sheds and outhouses/garages etc for her. describe her, put your number down and keep badgering people as the more people who are on the lookout the better. but i am confident she will be back with you soon, cats normally like to roam for a good couple of hours. go into the woods and ask the sky/god/angels/whatever to help you find her and guide you to her and you will start walking in one direction and will hopefully come accross her. take some treats too. Good luck and keep us posted

Many of my cats have 'got out' b4 they were supposed to. They say to keep your cat in for 2 weeks so it knows how to come home again when you first get it home. Cats can be very selfish creatures. One of my cats came back after 2 weeks of being away. He was very dirty and exceptionally hungry but fine. Get your neighbours to check their garages and sheds etc incase he/she has got in there and now can't get out. Also you could place an add in your local shop incase some one has found it. He/she will come back in their own time. If a cat finds a better place to live it will stay there! Give it time and keep going outside and calling it shaking the biscuit box etc. If, and i say if it doesn't come back it dose not mean the worst. OK? Good luck hon xxx

Put food and water out for her. Perhaps that will make her come back but keep looking, put those posters around the neighborhood, and don't forget to check your local shelter/pound. She could have been picked up. An ad in the newspaper is not a bad idea either. Hopefully she is ok and will come wondering back.

Go outside and call her at night when it's really quiet. Also, if she had a toy that made noise, take that out too and make noise with it.
During that day there are all sorts of noises that get in the way, that is why it is better to do this at night - also your cat will be awake then.
If she want's to come home, but can't find you this will help.

Probably she is living at somebody else's place, my neighbour's cat went missing for ten weeks, she put up some lost posters and he was found safe and well. A cat visits me but he is beginning to spend more and more time here, he comes from somebody who owns five other cats but I think he likes being on his own. Cats are good survivors.

Cats are normally really good with finding their way back home, however since your kitty has only been there for such a short period of time, it may not know that the home is it's own to go back to. At 6 months he should be capable of fending for himself, however there's always the risk of dogs and cars and sometimes just mean ppl. I hope you find him soon, good luck

leave her food dish out for her and some of her fav toys. jingle a little bell and sit outside waiting for her. if u see her don't yell-it may scare her away. just call to her in a sweet way. i bet she'll come home. it may help to check with neighbors and the local animal shelters. put up signs too! good luck.

Oh bless! She's probably just lost her way & obviously doesn't want to be stuck inside! Try calling her early hours of the morning or late at night also has she been microchipped? someone may have found her & taken her to a rescue centre (that's if your'e in the UK) worth a try contacting your local RSPCA. Lots of luck hope you find her.
