Yes water will make you seem full faster, but it may also go through you quicker making you feel hungrier often (and having to pee every ten minutes). Also, it's not a good idea to only eat when you are hungry because this is your bodies way of saying, "I need food." If you only eat when your body is hungry, you'll end up overeating which won't help with the weightloss. Best idea is to eat small portions every few hours, eat a nice size dinner at around 6 and don't eat anything after that for the night.

well heres the problems your skipping the 2 meals breakfast and lunch ofc your gonna pig out at night long if you really want to lose weight eat 3 times a day breakfast and if you say you cant well you can just get up earlier through out the whole entire day eat just eat smaller portions don't eat until your full or bloated and try to convinces your mom that your on a diet and if she can help you with it so she can let you eat around 5 and i you get hungry after 7 this is where fruit comes in eat as much fruit as you want it does not matter, and also you cant have a diet if you don't exercises so keep that in mind.

It is true that you eat less after drinking water but this is due to fullness of stomach and not because you are not hungry. The best thing to kill the hunger would be to drink diluted milk without sugar ( almost like water) and in this case what happens is the milk content would be converted to curd by the enzymes of the stomach and because of this even hunger would be killed and you will eat less also and try to eat lots of low caloric food like cucumbers which kill your appetitte and does not add calories to your body. Avoid all fats & sugars and take bland less calorie foods and reduce intake of salt as much as possible ( to reduce the absorption capacity of the stomach) and you can lose weight quicker without any side effects.

drinking more water in itself will help your body eliminate and process more efficiently. I agree with the person above who said that often you are really only thirsty not hungry and your brain gets its wrong as it is not used to habit.
if you are genuinely hungry, ie you haven't eaten for quite some time, then a glass of water followed by food will possibly reduce the amount you eat ... don't drink for at least 20 mins after eating.

Yes drinking water before a meal will fill your stomach some causing you to eat less during the meal. Also eating slowly during the meal causes you to eat less. Take your time chewing.

Drinking water through out the day if it is cold, will also help burn more calories, your body is processing the temp change.

Yes this is true, - drinking water throughout the day (not soft drinks or coffee) helps you in many ways.
You are probably better off not drinking too much around meal times - probably the best way is not to drink 30mins before a meal or 1 hr after a meal. Between meals drink well.

you can trick your stomach into thinking it's fuller that it is by drinking a glass of water before you eat, but the best way to lose weight and keep it off is by changing the way you eat.
your body needs plenty of fruits and veggies, and it also needs plenty of lean protein and grains too.
eating a variety of different things will help keep you from getting bored. I love hamburgers and french fries, so I came up with a little different way of making them so they'll be healthy and I can eat them and still lose weight. I buy 96% fat free ground beef to make my hamburgers, and I put mustard, ketchup, pickles, lettuce, tomato, onion, and fat free cheese on them. they taste great, and they're healthy too! and when I make my fries, I spray a cookie sheet with pam, cut up my potatoes, season them with a little seasoned salt and bake them in the oven. they taste great, and have none of the fat that you get from frying.
I also try to get cardio exercise 3 to 5 times a week, and on the weekends, we have dinner out, and I let myself eat something that I really want, and I don't worry about the calories. and I lose weight!
just don't ever let yourself become really hungry, and don't deprive your body of food because that's the thing that will cause you to fail.
Best Wishes!

My health teacher suggested drinking 2 glasses of milk before eatting. I'm not sure if there's any reason why you can't just substitue water.
