Don't you hate when the person you are with ask that question? Do you think that it is just a way to jump start a conversation? If so, why do they get mad when you tell them what you are thinking and its silly? Like..."I should have wore my hat with this outfit".

Do I hate it when the person I am with ASKS that question (What are you thinking?)? No, if there is an attempt at communication, I should recognize it for what it is. Sometimes I ask that question too. The people I know don't get mad when I answer. Nor do I.

No. It wouldnt bother me. If Im wit someone they can talk to me about whatever and whenever they feel the need to.
On the same hand, if someone asks me a question and they dont like the answer, they should not have asked me the question. If someone asks a question they r subject to whatever the person says.
Its too small to get mad at so I would let it fly.

yeah it is pretty annoying but usually that question is asked to jump start a conversation or because that person can see by your face expressions that you are having more fun in your head than you are with him

If someone asks this question they should be prepared for just about anything if the person actually responds to it.... When people ask me though for the most part I just avoid it

lol my guy asks me this ALL THE TIME... but I ask him all the time too... in the silence spots. It does get scary though... I have to almost have to be careful what I'm thinking, because I wouldn't want to lie about it ya know. hahaha
