Do some crunches and leg lifts every morning and every night. Do 30 minutes of cardio at least three times a week (run/walk/bike). Get 6 to 8 hours of sleep every night (turn off the TV and the computer).
Don't consume alcohol--alcohol is nothing more than empty calories with no nutritional value.
Cut back on the foods you eat with high fat and high sugar content. Try to eat only single servings (read the label) with less than 3g saturated fat and 3g sugars.
Eat breakfast, and eat five small meals per day instead of three big meals.
If you don't wake up starving, then you ate too much the day before.
Good luck.

Hi you can get some free samples (you just pay the shipping) from a proffesional company. They will tailor a programme for you so you can replace meals with shakes/vitamins etc and it will save you money on your regular food bill. I used these guys and not only did I lose lots of weight but I saved a lot of money too. if you want to improve your health generally, lose weight and have more energy then getting some nutritional help is vital. Once your body starts to absorb the right nutrients and vitamins and protein then you’ll be amazed how quickly you will feel the difference, usually within the first 48 hours if you get the right supplements and help. I had no energy and felt just generally rotten all round so I sought the advice of a nutritional coach (whose advice was FREE) and got myself some great products, I even got free samples before I got started so I could see just how good they were!! There is a website called myhealthabc.com If go on there and fill out the details (you must be over 18 and you’ll need a debit or credit card-or someone who can help you) page you will get a call with no pressure about what you need. There is a mall area as well that’s got some great info and its all set out with easy to follow headings so you can find what you want. It’s so easy and the stuff they have is excellent. I have been using their products for over two years and I feel great. I lost 70 pounds in less than seven months!! My sister lost 60 pounds in five months. The stuff is amazing. Try them you won’t be disappointed. I even started to use their skin care range last year and my skin is in such good condition now.

I am a med student. Running will burn more calories per time than any other exercise (except sex).Running 3 to 5 days a week around a mile will help immensely. \ Eating healthier is the next step which means less than 1800 calories a day and good calories at that. Fruits instead of ice cream and snickers. As far as motivation goes, i have always thought of the fact God gave me a healthy body. I have 2 good legs and arms why let them go to waste. Imagine what the people in wheel chairs think that will never walk.... if only they could. You have been given this ability, why let it go to waste? "Impossible is just a big word thrown around by small men. Who find it easier to live in the world than to explore the power they have to change it. Impossible is not a fact, but an opinion. Impossible is nothing!" Good luck!

Walking and toning exercises. Load up your headset/ipod/cassette player with a bunch of tunes that makes you feel good and go out walking. Do toning exercises while you're watching tv or online. Do some butt squeezes. Squats, leg lifts. Grab a can of soup and use them for hand weights. Anything you can do to tone up to add some muscle will help you burn more calories. While you're walking pick up the pace for a few minutes and then go back to a normal pace. Jog for a minute then walk for a few minutes.

Eliminate white foods from your diet - breads, sugars, and potatoes. Also corn. Then walk every day for about 30 minutes to start. Then build up until you are running a couple of miles daily. And the more you walk/run, the more you want to. Good luck!!

I've lost 5 kilos in my first week. It's my 10th day and I have included salad with some protein (eg. egg/ lean chicken) as you suggested. After 4 years of trying, the fat is finally coming off. It truly feels like magic!
Get started today!

Just take up walking. Around the block, up and down your street. At a park, or where ever you can get some milage. Besides the cost of a good pair of shoes, walking is free.

It is a mental thing. I can't get into the gym cause that ain't no fun. So look for fun activities that are physical and get away from the computer. This is as bad as being a book worm
