Video problems in Windows Vista?

I cant watch streaming video or any video (even DVD's) well because its so choppy on Windows Vista, I dont see how that can happen? I have a fairly new computer and it never did it with XP

I am not a Vista guru, but I do know that it requires a separate powerful video card. Also, it needs at least a gigabyte of RAM.
So if you do not have these then look into doing so.

This may help.
In directx window sound section reduce the acceleration to left(min). and check.
And u should have at least 768Mb ram 1GB is best.
