You know what...it is better. Being in a relationship is highly overrated and everyone should be able to experince the single life. This is the time in your life when you are going to have the most fun and meet more people then ever. Why would you want to be tied down at a time like this? Have your fun, enjoy being able to do what you want without having to ask anybody, and get to know yourself. By the time you do be in a relationship, you will know yourself better, you will have respect for yourself, and you will know what you want in a guy. You will not put up with **** from any guy and you will not waste your time on a guy thats not good enough for you. Most importantly, you will never feel like you missed out on something by not being single.
Just please never ever think there is something wrong with you and never ever settle for someone just because you want to have a boyfriend. Eventually the right guy will come along.
For now...have fun!!!

I am aware that as a guy, I may not be the one you'd listen to. But i am a month away from being 20, I have been thinking the same thing, by now surely i would've had a relationship of sorts. But I've also been thinking about a lot of things. My friends expect it of me and people i work with are suprised, people i meet are suprised. Frankly i think it comes down to the fact that there is too much of an expectation, when there need not to be.

Sure, sometimes i'd like to have relationship, but i believe im not ready, emotionally or otherwise. There is already enough in my life i'd like to deal with first before i take on a new challenge (that is what i see a relationship as).

So my opinion is that you are perfectly normal, if YOU think you are ready, try it out. Meanwhile enjoy life!

Oh, i would sincerely doubt you'd become a 40yr old virgin, besides if you did, you'll have a lot of fun to have at 40!

My pals anticipate it of me and persons i paintings with are suprised, human beings i meet are suprised. Frankly i imagine it comes all the way down to the actual undeniable actuality that there is too a lot of an expectation, even as there favor now to not be. constructive, often times i ought to favor to have courting, yet i have self belief im no longer waiting, emotionally or in the different case. there is already adequate in my existence i ought to favor to cope with first in the previous i handle a sparkling challenge (that is what i see a courting as). So my opinion is that you're completely accepted, in case you imagine you're waiting, examine it out. in the period in-between savour existence! Oh, i ought to basically doubt you would change right into a 40yr previous virgin, besides in case you probably did, you'll have a great number of relaxing to have at 40!

Perhaps you are in a part of your life where you don't get a chance to meet men of substance?

Sometime it just takes longer for some people to be deep in "the game."

If it makes you feel any better, I didn't start seriously dating until I was 20 years old.

Now I'm a playa...j/k

I wont be worrying to much about that one

I only got my first boyfriend when i was almost 21

Just enjoy being single and believe me when you do get a bf you will wish to be single again

Some of us just takes longer to do things that doesn't make it wrong or abnormal

you are NOT abnormal. One of my good friends never dated a guy until she was 22 and now she's 25 and almost engaged. She's dated 3 guys in her life.

you are definetly normal.
