By getting some performance diesel injection parts.. Like the programmer called Edge.. or other diesel engine controllers that modify fuel flow on the newer trucks. With soo much more diesel fuel entering the engine, and making lots more horsepower, black smoke is created. These controllers will only work on newer 24-valve motors.. the older diesels need the injection pump itself modified for more fuel output. Hope this helps.

"If it don't smoke black take er back" That old saying is soon going down in the history books. The reason is new engines are waayyy more efficient and the new Low Sulfur Diesel fuel new diesels are required to burn. The black smoke you used to see was a mixture of uncombusted fuel and sulfer particulates, but the new fuel just doesn't have the sulfur. I know that new powerstrokes have an incinerator chamber in the exhaust system just to burn out that left over particulate. If you really wanna burn some oil get a mid 90's dodge and a case of oil. You'll have the best luck on real cold mornings.

Why do you want to blow black smoke? The Black smoke is unburnt fuel. The Cummings diesel has a turbo which pushes more air into the cylinders and makes it burn cleaner unless you flour it on take off and throw more fuel in before enough exhaust pressure is produced to make the turbo put out more

What year? if it's computerized you can buy chips that will make em burn hotter. The only way to get Black smoke from a dodge is give it to much fuel, and that is Very hard to do unless you do some tinkering.

Black smoke is nothing more than unburnt fuel, cummins will void your warrenty if you get caught tampering with the enigne parameters and with fuel prices the way they are i would leave it alone.

First of it isnt "black smoke" its unburned gas like with maximum drag racers or such as you suggested earlier fashions. you may play around with gas injection i assume to apply greater gas yet your mpg could be terrible and its extremely undesirable for the atmosphere or every physique interior 100feet of you mutually as employing or at a purple easy
