If born in a military hospital - one would have to have a parent that is American that is the mother (married or not) or the wife of an American and their child. I know of no military bases that have an open door policy for any other than service wo/men and their dependents to use them.

If a legal dependent - you are an American.

Depending upon the laws of the country, such children born in military hospitals overseas can possibly have what is known as 'dual citizenship' - but that is not always the case. Not many countries have it set so that just being born within a country makes that person a citizen of that country.

My suggestion - get in touch with American embassy personnel. Show them the paperwork that you have and they should be able to help you out.

If one or both parents were American citizens at the time the children were born, then yes. Otherwise no. Being born on a US base does not confer citizenship; US bases, like embassies and consulates are NOT US 'soil'.

In addition, being a legal dependent of an American citizen does not automatically mean citizenship for the dependent, either.

If i can make a tenet....: How about we take a number of those those who evaluate the U. S. as a 'Christian merely' united states of america, and set them to at least one position, and all the different US voters to a special position. Then we will see how issues pan out, even as they have none yet their very personal to push down and condemn. they are going to see the steadiness and cohesion between the united states, and the terror and loathing of their very personal Divided States. Cue an invasion contained in the call of God, even with it being un-biblical, and a lengthy civil war, because the sorrowful provide in to their jealousy. Oh nicely...we tried. there is merely about no longer something which could be finished, yet to climate their bitter tongues, and understand merely love for them. faith isn't any component in citizenship. in reality, Pagans have as a lot precise to the Earth as Christians do. Pagans merely coach extra appreciation for the right to Earth. ((((hugs)))) ~Loving mild~

Yes if you were born in a DOD hospital you are considered American, yet you also have the option to choose the nationality of birth when you reach the legal age in that country.
