When I was walking my dog today we passed a dead bird. My dog rolled her body over the dead bird? Why does she do this?

yeah.... um dogs are strange. My dog does the same thing, but with fish when we take him to the lake. My fiance says it's because they love the smell and thinks it's going make them more attractive or powerfull. No matter how much we try to stop him from doing it, he does anyway!!

Its their wild instincts. When wolves are searching around in the wild they and they find something foul smelling they rub themselves in it so they can bring the smell back to the pack.

Yuck.... It probably smells very good to dogs.... Maybe she wanted to leave her scent on it so that when she walked back, she could get it for herself.
